2021 Spring Valley Business Revitalization Grant Program

The primary goals of the Spring Valley Revitalization Grant Program are to improve the appearance of businesses located in the City; promote the restoration of historic business structures; encourage economic investment; and create safe, attractive, and well-maintained business districts that promote a thriving entrepreneurial climate within the City.
Revitalization Grants are to be used to improve the exterior of the fronts and sides of commercial buildings clearly visible from a public street. Projects must adhere to the City’s Land Development Code, zoning regulations and map, and all applicable City building codes and ordinances.

The latest edition of the Ameren Electric Service Manual dated September 2014 has been amended with the amendment dated May 2015. What is Community Solar ?
Community Solar is an arrangement under which multiple customers subscribe to a single large PV system to offset their own electricity use with a portion of the electricity generated by the community solar system. Program is made available with the passage of Future Energy Jobs Act (FEJA) in Illinois. Customers in the same electric service territory as the solar system (no matter how far or close) can remotely subscribe to a share in line with their annual electricity consumption and for the potential to reduce electricity bills

Illinois Shines Community Solar Brochure

What is Illinois Shines? Illinois Shines is the brand name of the Adjustable Block Program, a state-administered program for new solar photovoltaic (“PV”) systems. The program provides payments in exchange for 15 years of Renewable Energy Credits (“RECs”)1 generated by community solar projects and other PV systems. Participating in Illinois Shines is the same thing as participating in the Adjustable Block Program.

Ameren Updated Service and Subdivision Policy

Dear Service Manual Recipient,
The purpose of this letter is to notify you of changes to Ameren Illinois Electric Service and Subdivision policies. As of April 1st, 2019, all new electric residential and non-residential services will be installed underground, unless good engineering practice dictates that Ameren Illinois installs the service overhead. Residential services will continue to be installed by Ameren Illinois and non-residential services will continue to be installed by the customer in customer installed conduit.
