Spring Valley, IL – Get ready for an action-packed fall and holiday season as Grow Spring Valley brings a series of exciting community events to life! Join us for a variety of festive activities that celebrate our local culture and the spirit of the season.
Ethnic Sausage and Harvest Fest
On Saturday, October 19th, Grow Spring Valley proudly presents the return of the Ethnic Sausage and Harvest Fest at Kirby Park. This event will feature delicious ethnic sausages from local vendors, family-friendly entertainment, and fun fall activities that highlight our community’s rich heritage.
Elves Night Out & Christmas in the Valley
Celebrate the start of the holiday season with Elves Night Out on Thursday, November 14th. Then, continue the festivities with Christmas in the Valley on Saturday, November 16th, including activities all around Spring Valley and the annual Breakfast with Santa at Hall High School.
Santa’s 5K & Lighted Christmas Parade
The celebration concludes with the annual Santa’s 5K and Lighted Christmas Parade on Saturday, November 30th. This year’s parade theme is “Storybook Christmas”. Stay tuned for details on sign-ups and sponsorship opportunities.

Celebrate the Growth and Community Spirit of Spring Valley with the Final Friday Night Market and Fireworks Display
Spring Valley, IL – Grow Spring Valley is thrilled to announce the grand finale of this year’s Friday Night Markets on Friday, August 16th, starting at 5 PM on East St. Paul Street, in front of the Mini Park.
This special event will feature live music by She’s a Maybe on the Mini Park stage, an array of artisan vendors offering handmade crafts, fresh produce, bakery items, and more, along with food trucks lining the street with a variety of delicious options. Kids can enjoy face painters, balloon artists, and caricature artists, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The highlight of the evening will be a spectacular fireworks display at dusk, best viewed from the Mini Park on East St. Paul Street. This event marks the culmination of the second year of our Friday Night Markets, which have successfully brought together artisans and community members, showcasing the vibrant growth and unity of Spring Valley.
